In a one off special appearance, Pam Sheyne is stepping out of the studio to perform some of her most recent co-writes with fellow songwriter Jon Green at THE LOCKOUT.
Pam is quite simply a legend in the world of songwriting. Since moving to the UK from her native New Zealand, Pam has worked with most of the top names in the business resulting in considerable worldwide success.
Best known for writing the breakthrough “Genie In A Bottle” a song that topped the charts in 27 countries world-wide, that earned Christina Aguilera her Grammy for Best New Artist and Pam an Ivor Novello for International Hit of the Year along with 4 BMI Awards, Pam has also co- penned USA hits for Dream “He Loves U Not” (# 2 Hot 100) , Jessica Simpson “Irresistible” (# 15 Hot 100), M2M (Certified Gold Single USA) and Myra “Miracles Happen” (end title to “The Princess Diaries”).
Pam’s songs have also featured in films including “ The Princess Diaries 2” and the end title “Drama Queen (That Girl)” for “Confessions of A Teenage Drama Queen” recorded by Lindsay Lohan.
Other successes here in the UK include hits and cuts with: - Mario Frangoulis, Hayley Westenra, Liberty X, Speedway, Triple 8, Lulu, Billie Piper, Kavana, Louise, Eternal, Mary Kiani, Kim Wilde, Sheena Easton, MN8, Charlotte, Brian Kennedy and 911.
As a singer, Pam has worked with artists such as Celine Dion, Trisha Yearwood, Elton John, Darryl Hall, Bryan Adams, Mike & The Mechanics, Cyndi Lauper, The Pet Shop Boys, Paul Carrack, Michael McDonald, Geri Halliwell & Boyzone.
Pams most recent collaborations are with Corrine Bailey Rae (EMI Records) and Lucie Silvas (Mercury). Delta Goodrem (Sony UK), Jonas (Polydor UK), Teitur Lassen (Universal).
As proven, in addition to her songwriting skills, Pam also has a wonderful voice which we are pleased to say she will be using to showcase some of her latest compositions on the 26th Sept. Not to be missed!
