In a music scene saturated with Indie bands, KOJO are fast becoming the pioneers of a fresh new sound for 2008.Like Prince meets The Chillies, they're are a melting pot of scintillating 80’s pop, funk, soul & rock. Tongue in cheek lyrics along with sensational musicianship combined with powerful vocals and hook lines hit you like a very welcome slap round the chops. Each song with it’s own twist and juicy groove leaves you wanting more. KOJO were invited to play at In The City 2007. Following selection to ITC they were chosen as “Record of the day” and then “Record of the week”. They now have Nokia sponsorship through the Royal Artists Club. They have also been stirring things up supporting the Sugababes on recent dates over the UK to great response; even the Sugababes themselves have declared their love for KOJO!
KOJO are currently playing a number of gigs round London and the UK.
