Anna Krantz is one of London’s brightest new talents. With wide influences, varying from the likes of Carol King and Joni Mitchell to jazz and soul greats such as Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder, Anna’s music incorporates these influences whilst adding her own unique style. Her songs are described as ‘telling stories which take the listener on passionate journeys’.
At 23 years of age, Anna has already recorded a wide range of her own songs and is much in demand as a co-writer. She also has an extensive live performance history, including past residencies at The Kashmir Klub and The Troubadour Cafe.
Having signed a publishing deal with Blujay Music Ltd, she is currently writing with acts signed to major record labels including Island Records and Universal Classics and Jazz. Her songs have also been recorded by artists outside the UK.
She recently completed the recording of her debut album at the infamous Abbey Road studios in London. The album entitled ‘PRECIOUS TIME WITH YOU’ will be released on Glad Records early summer 2006 and samples of the tracks can be heard at her website.
