Rosie is 21 years old, she gets sunburnt twice a year & doesn’t wear real fur. She also fronts musical act the ‘Odd squad’ & makes lists. There is no denying that Rosie Oddie is a high impact artist. Even this early in her career the press have been calling & she has already been featured in The Guardian, Daily Mail, Grazia, The Evening Standard & The Metro. On top of this the fanbase is building proved when her song ‘Genni’s Song’ became a MySpace Top 10 which among other things has generated a online buzz to rival most others.
Her music has seen extensive support from regional radio including BBC London, XFM, Kiss and the student radio network. And Rosie’s strong sense of image and style complimented by unquestionable music talent has lead to features on MTV, Channel 4 Radio, NME and The Fly.
This year Rosie can be found supporting The Blockheads on their UK tour whilst in between it all she continues work on recording her breakthrough debut album.
The Guardian - “Oddie's fags-and-late-nights voice has a corrugated edge (and) you won't find this girl in a ball gown. Instead, she is zipped into skinny white jeans and torn gold baseball boots that look like they have already seen a few scraps. Genni’s Song is a stomping celebration of youthful independence. Move over Lily, or at least budge up a bit.”
Rosie Oddie is unstoppable!
