Fiona Renshaw

Fiona Renshaw is a 30 year old singer, writer and producer of songs, commercial songs with a fearless and soulful edge. Unlike many other female acts of the moment, this girl has lived and she wants to tell you how much.

Described by The Independent as “a grown up Joss Stone” Fiona’s sultry voice resonates with honesty and drips with sexual potency.

Following a long & interesting musical journey she has found her own voice and style in a canny mix of rock, soul and jazz, with a brazen pop twist.

As a sign of her talent support has come from sources as diverse Radio One’s tastemaker Gilles Peterson and Radio Two’s daytime don Jeremy Vine. Fiona also wrote Lisa Stansfield’s single, “ Easier”, and her music has been featured in the Working Title / CBS film, “Perfect Strangers”, staring Rob Lowe, and Anna Friel.

Fiona is currently hard at work writing & recording songs for a new album, and is already being courted but a number of major label execs.

Collaborators on this album include a range of premier writers, whose previous credits include Annie Lennox, Dido, Fiona Apple, James Blunt, Beverly Knight, Gil Scott-Heron and David Gray, drawing on elements of Folk, Country, Rock and Pop but as always creating a totally unique sound.

Fiona will perform some of this new material exclusively at THE LOCKOUT.

Deep, dark and authoritative, yet with a touch of vulnerability.
