Bo Pepper

Bo Pepper are definitely one of the bands to watch out for in 2008. They site among their influences The Pigeon Detectives, The Hoosiers, The Strokes and ....knitted sock puppets. As yet Bo Pepper are unsigned but this year performed at the prestigious SXSW festival in Austin, Texas thanks to a grant from the PRS. Whilst there, they scored some amazing reviews and created a real buzz which has continued ever since they returned to the UK.

The band's new line-up features Dolly, Remy, Sam Redman and Danny Wonder , who have been together just a few months but despite this Bo Pepper have already created some amazing new demos in main songwriter Dolly's bedroom. The cream of the world’s top producers are now approaching thick and fast including Stephen Street (Smiths, Blur), Steve Lillywhite (U2), Greg Wells (Mika, One Republic) and Gordon Raphael (The Strokes).

The band's unique puppet-fronted videos, created by the boys at Pennymix Films, have notched up over 900,000 hits online, making them more famous than Sooty ! & their Christmas vid was the second most viewed music video on youtube.com (13th November 2007) after celebrity blogger Perez Hilton featured it on his website .
